December 2013 – Progress on the feature film project announced in August continues.

August 2013 – Open Channel Content will be providing additional post-production services for DVD of “Jane Roche and Her Orchestra” a benefit concert at Etown Hall in cooperation with Coupe Studios in Boulder, CO.

August 2013 – Open Channel Content is partnering with local producer/cinematographer David Jean Schweitzer and producer Marc Coan in developing an independent feature film project. The subject is a mystery set in Northern New Mexico.

March 2013- OCC provided additional videography and post-production assistance to  “Jane Roche and Her Orchestra” benefit concert and CD launch at Etown Hall in Boulder Co.

February 2013- OCC provided talent, script editing and voice-over services for Lightningwood Pictures’ production of “The Upright Sleeper” promotional video that airs on “The View” and “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” this month http://www.uprightsleeper.com/.

January 2013 – OCC began production on our latest short film project “John Barleycorn Must Live.” Stay tuned for progress reports.

December 2012 – OCC provided numerous film and event reviews to the Santa Fe Film Festival.

October 2012 – OCC provided video services for Mel White’s Kickstarter campaign for publishing her memoir “Dizzy Sushi” about her experiences of love and learning in Japan. June 2012 – OCC has provided full video production services to Adam Harvey and “The New Yorker” (online June 12-18 issue) for the “Bloomsday on Broadway” article. Watch the video at http://tinyurl.com/ctv7yge 

April 2012- OCC provided full video production services to Stephen Smith’s “Big Ball World Record” documenting his world record of balancing on a ball for 25 consecutive hours. Stay tuned for the behind-the-scenes documentary.

January 2012 – Stryder provided technical services as well as playing a speaking role in award-winning filmmaker Lauren Petzke’s latest award-winning comic short film entitled “Zombiewood.”

August 2011- Stryder has reached the final round of consideration for acceptance to the 2012 Sundance Screenwriter’s Lab.

April 2011 – OCC will provide script supervisor services to Dutchy Parade Films on veteran director Peter Kerchaw’s New Mexico New Visions Grant winning project, “20 Ways.”

March 2011 – OCC will provide editing services on two more recent music releases for singer songwriter John Mc Vey.

January 2011 – OCC will provide editing services for singer-songwriter John Mc Vey’s music video, “Con Man.”

October 2011 – OCC provided numerous film and event reviews to the Santa Fe Film Festival.

November 5-12, 2010 – OCC provided script supervision services for the upcoming short film “Good Luck Mr. Gorski,” written by Allegra Huston and Directed by Arron Shiver.

November 7, 2010 – OCC provided camera operating services at Couple Studios, Boulder, CO to capture singer-songwriter John Mc Vey in HD video for his upcoming music videos.

September 25, 2010 – OCC provided camera operating services for Coupe Studios, Boulder, CO to capture rock and roll band “Rose Hill Drive,” live in concert at The Fox Theater.

July 18 – November 9, 2010 – The Pollen Princess prop from his short film “Full Pollen Moon,” was included in a sculpture exhibit entitled Sangre Scarecrows by Stryder Simms featured at the “Tropic of Capricorn” outdoor sculpture gallery in Santa Fe New Mexico.

June 3-6, 2010 OCC’s current festival film,”Agnes Day” is an official selection at the Vineyard Film Festival screening in Nicosia on the island of Cypress.

February 1, 2010 – We were notified that two of OCC’s 2009 short films “Agnes Day” and BAILOUT are official selections at the Washington DC Independent Film Festival, March 4-14.

December 5, 2009 Phoenix Simms accepted a best drama award for “Milagros” at the Kid’s First International Film Festival.

October 8-11, 2009 OCC’s film “Agnes Day” opened the Taos Mountainfilm Festival.

September 25-28, 2009 Two of OCC’s 2009 films BAILOUT and “Agnes Day,” were presented at the New Mexico Film Expo.

May 15, 2009 OCC’s short film BAILOUT was awarded the top honor, “BEST PICTURE” at The SF Reporter International 3 Minute Film Festival. Over 30 films competed including entries from Latin America and United Kingdom.

May 18-21, 2009 Principal photography on OCC’s short film “Agnes Day” was completed.

April 1-22, 2009 Phoenix joined the producing team for “The Baby Monitor,” a short film by Jocelyn Jansons, 2009 Governor’s Cup award recipient.

April 19-24, 2009 Stryder joined the camera department for the shooting of “The Baby Monitor,” a short film by Jocelyn Jansons, 2009 Governor’s Cup award recipient.

April 4, 2009 Principal photography on OCC’s short film BAILOUT was completed.
